Munanso in the Manigua

Our Munanso is in a clearing that was created with garavatos and machetes within a Manigua within the forest.  The Manigua is mostly a honeysuckle shrub, that leafs out earlier in the year than most bushes.  There are also many trees, including two that are right within the buildings in the Munanso.  There are two distinct layers here, the Manigua layer and the tree canopy.  Over time the tree canopy has extended over the actual clearing.  Within the Munanso clearing various shade loving native plants grow including  medicinals, they are ginseng, black cohosh, solomon's seal, trillium, monarda, wild ginger and sweet woodruff.
